The California Honeydrops at Variety Playhouse

The California Honeydrops bring a spirited blend of blues, soul, funk, and roots music to the stage. Known for an organic sound shaped by vintage influences and lively musicianship, the band has built a following through energetic performances and a connection with audiences. Their music draws on the traditions of American roots styles while adding a loose, dance-friendly feel.

The group is scheduled to perform at Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, Georgia, on January 23, 2027. The event is listed on alpharettatickets.com under Concerts and Jazz / blues. No tour name or opening act has been provided for this date.

Set in Little Five Points, Variety Playhouse puts concertgoers near the neighborhood's restaurants, bars, and independent shops. The area's character makes it easy to pair the show with a casual meal or a walk before doors open. Prices currently start around $40, with final costs varying by ticket type and availability.

Venue and Seating Information

Located at 1099 Euclid Ave NE, Variety Playhouse occupies a historic building that originally opened as the Euclid Theatre in 1940. Its approximately 1,100-person capacity and mix of standing and seated areas create an intimate setting for live music.

For this concert, the venue's configuration may vary. The front pit and standing floor offer a close, energetic experience, while the elevated rear theater-style seats provide a seated option and a broader view of the stage. Check the event's ticket details for the arrangement in use on the night.

Parking Information

Parking around Little Five Points can be limited on show nights, so arriving early or considering transit or rideshare can make arrival easier. Options supplied for the venue include:

• Variety Playhouse Rear Parking Lot — rear of 1099 Euclid Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30307; reported at $7 cash only and subject to availability.
• Little Five Points Street Parking — around Euclid Ave NE and Moreland Ave NE; free spaces may be available, but are limited.
• Little Five Points neighborhood lots — nearby paid lots are listed at approximately $5–$10 per event.

The rear lot is the closest listed option, but it may fill quickly. Bring cash if using it, and allow extra time to find a space. Rideshare drop-off is available on Euclid Ave NE; for post-show pickup, a nearby side street may be less congested.
